Cinque Terre from Livorno
Our classic itinerary — Portovenere, Manarola, Vernazza, and Corniglia — gives you the prettiest and most indicative places in the Cinque Terre area with decent time to enjoy each spot. (Kindly note that it is not realistic to visit all the Cinque Terre villages in one touring day when you have a ship to catch.)
Although your friendly, professional, English-speaking driver is an expert at navigating the Cinque Terre by car, we recommend taking the ferry to travel between the villages because viewing the coastline from the sea is the best way to appreciate the spectacular beauty of the place. If the ferry is not running or simply doesn’t appeal to you, your driver can take the panoramic road to travel between the villages.
Kindly note: If you take the ferry to travel between the villages, your driver will not accompany you (the ferry is for foot passengers only). Tickets for the ferry cost approx. 30 Euro pp and can be purchased on the spot at the kiosk in Portovenere.)
