Cooking Class in Tuscany with Optional Pisa from La Spezia
After about a 75-minute drive from La Spezia, we'll arrive in the countryside just east of Lucca, in the Montecarlo wine region. Fattoria Carmignani is a family-run boutique winery, a simple but classic country estate that has been producing quality wines with love for decades. The Carmignani family has been winemakers in this area since 1386.
The cooking lesson is hands-on and lasts 3 hours. It will be followed by a lunch (approx. 2 hours) of the dishes you've prepared. A guided tasting of seven of the estate’s wines will accompany the meal. A walk through the vineyards with the winemaker completes the experience.
This excursion is perfect for folks in search of a hands-on culinary experience in Tuscany that is a reasonable distance from port (La Spezia is in the province of Liguria, not Tuscany.)
Vegan and vegetarian options are available. Food intolerances can be accommodated.
Kindly note: The cost of the cooking class (130 Euro pp) is NOT included in the rate. You'll pay for that on the spot, directly to the winery.
